Scripture: I Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Nugget: This scripture is a reminder to avoid evil. This includes everything from evil thoughts to evil actions to evil people. It’s definitely not easy to do some of these things; for instance, if someone treats you badly, the first reaction may be to lash out in return. The thing is, we must learn to control our reactions to people & things that affect us in a negative way. One way to do this is to change our surroundings & those who surround us.
Check your heart & the things that affect it in a negative way; it may be time for change!
