Yesterday, I had the opportunity to hear Dr. Farrah Gray speak. What an awesome word he gave. For those of you who don’t know him, he’s the 24-year old who became a millionaire @ 14-years old. He is also the youngest person to have an office on Wall Street. You can read his bio @ http://www.drfarrahgray.com/biography.html
What a great word he gave to us! He reminded us of the importance of love & humanity towards one another & how to change from the inside out. It doesn’t matter what you have on the outside ,as far as the materialistic stuff, if the inside isn’t right!! It’s amazing how we can put so much emphasis on the things that fade & not on the things that will help us grow.
So with this being said, he provided some great advice: “Live your God-given talent. Be the next you, everyone else is already taken!” What a true statement! We have to focus on continual growth in ourselves & use this to be the person God put us on Earth to be–no matter what anyone else says. Gray reminded us, “Never allow anyone’s perception of you to become your reality.”
He said so many things, that I know I won’t be able to touch upon them all (that’s why I bought his book, Reallionaire). However, whatever it is that you are called to do, do it. Paint that painting, write that book, sing that song—don’t let your dreams lie in the graveyard, because when we leave here, that’s where they will lie.
Lastly, the 3 questions Gray posed to us were:
1) What comes easy to you?
2) What would you do for years & years & do it for free?
3) How can you give back?
Discover you! Don’t settle for anything. If you think it can’t happen & won’t happen for you, as Gray stated, “Why not you?”
Until next time.
Blessings.
