Ease on Down the Road……

Today is the day!!!! The last day at my current job!!! I’ve been waiting for this day since I graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, leaving the job is one of the most easiest & most difficult things to do. It’s easy because it’s definitely time to move on, it’s difficult because I will miss my co-workers & friends. But with today’s technology, there’s no reason not to keep in touch w/ someone, unless you really don’t want to!

6 years at this job flew by; I spent most of my 20s there & believe me, that’s enough 🙂 I did learn a lot during my employment. I learned things that I never would’ve been otherwise “hip” to, but one of the most important things I’ve learned is not to get stuck somewhere. My Pastor has said, “If you’re not happy w/ where you’re at, then that’s not where God wants you to be”. There has to be that dream or desire you want to achieve; that something that makes you want to do better, to be better.

Now, I’m not saying to leave a job in this crazy economy, but am saying not to lose sight of what you really want to do: your dreams. Don’t get so caught up in a job & not work towards the one thing or the things you see yourself doing. That “thing” will be what God has placed on your heart to do.

Although the difficulties of my current job are over, I look forward to the next thing. I’m excited & happy; which I haven’t been in a while on a job. I know that God is in this next phase of my life & know that He’s working on my behalf!!! I continue to pray for those who I leave @ the job (because it’s not an easy place to be), but I know God has something in store for them too (so they better get ready for the job listings I send their way).

With this said, I “ease on down the road” to what’s next…….God has my back!
Until next time.
Blessings.

  1. Yes girl you ease on down that road, Lord I am dancing for you, you have no idea how excited for you I am. I have seen you struggle & heard your frustration with that job you left. It almost feels like my kid got that job she always wanted. We will keep in touch, even though I can be bad at that I know you are real good at it, so I am going to rely on you because I want to be around to see all the good things that are yet to come for you… God bless you!

With everything that’s going on today, one thing I’ve noticed that changes for some people is focus. Staying focused drives us towards the goals & dreams that God is guiding
