Scriptures: I Corinthians 13:5-7 5It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (NIV)
Nugget: Love, many of us say that we love someone unconditionally, but do we? Do we love them as Jesus loved us? Through the hard times, the growing pains, through faults, forgiveness, & more. Do we love them through disagreements, arguments, & fights? It’s amazing how our view on love can change when facing difficulties in these relationships we have with friends, family, & loved ones.
Love can be one of the most difficult, yet rewarding, experience of our lives. The love we have for others allows us to see & feel a glimpse of the love God has for us (in giving Jesus for our sins). Love is open, true, forgiving, hopeful, selfless, & trusting.
Don’t sit on the love you have for others; share this with them today. Life is too short do otherwise.
Quote: “This fire that we call Loving is too strong for human minds. But just right for human souls.” -Aberjhani
