Daily Scriptures 6/26/13

Scripture: Psalm 18:28 You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. (NIV)

Nugget: We all have good days & bad days. Definitely, the good outweighs the bad; however, some of the bad days can seem endless & have lasting effects on us (ex: stress, restlessness, etc).

The scripture above indicates God keeps our lamps burning & turns darkness into light. I love the words here; I think of the days where I felt as if I couldn’t go on & was able to do so. Most people would say to us, “Look for the light at the end of the tunnel”. Sometimes we don’t think about that light being God!

God’s way of turning darkness into light is demonstrated through His love for us; a love that is so great that He gave His only son, Jesus, to die for us & our sins. What a love this is!

On your dark or darkest days, do your best not to focus on what you’re facing that could be overwhelming: focus on the best source of light we have during these dark moments.
