Daily Scriptures 12/5/11

Scripture: Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. (NIV)

Nugget: Sometimes it’s so easy for us to judge others; saying what we’ll “never do.” However, we truly never know what we’ll do, especially if we were in the other person’s situation or walking in their shoes.

It’s not our role to be the judge & jury for people; our role is to pray for others. God’s role is to do His will & His way.

We all have something that we’re in constant prayer about; don’t let your judgment of others cloud your vision—we’re all a work in progress & seeking God’s will for our lives.

Quote: “We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.” -Paul Coelho

Daily Scriptures 1/25/11

Scriptures: Psalm 56:3-4 3But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. 4I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? (NLT)

Nugget: We’ve heard it so many times, “just trust in God”. So why do we doubt? We let ourselves get in the way. We must continue to trust & praise Him for all that He’s done & all that He continues to do.

May we stay on track & keep God first in everything. Faith in Him is like nothing we could ever imagine.

Quote: “Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe.” -Voltaire
