As you can see, I’ve began publishing the “Daily Scriptures” on my blog. I usually send them out in emails, but everyone needs an uplifting word!!! I pray that you check them out & they help somehow during your day/week/etc.
There is so much power in the words that we speak & think. You know how far negativity can get you; you think one negative thought & it snowballs into more. I find that one of the most difficult things to do is to not complain when things are going a certain way (yes, I had the Monday Blues yesterday, so I had to combat that!). With this said, there has to be more positive to combat the negative.
Regardless of the situation going on, music does help. I find that my “fighter” songs are “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child (yes, I’m a fan!), a few of Mary, Mary hits like “Incredible”, & the whole Kirk Franklin “Hero” CD (you have to check this one out!).
Speaking of Kirk Franklin, if you’re a fan in the Central Florida Area, he will be in concert on Nov. 7, 2008 @ Northland Church in Longwood, FL. You can find more info here
