Lately, my single friends & I have talked about everything from the joys of being single to being alone while being single. Most want & are expecting that “someone special” one day. I like the expectation that God is working on that someone special for me, just as He is working on me for that someone!
The thing is, most singles are focusing a lot on the “aloneness” rather than the process of what God is trying to form in them. We have to go through the process of preparation because I truly believe that if God gave us everything we want all @ one time, we wouldn’t be able to take it all in.
We all go through seasons in life & the feelings that come with those seasons are normal. However, we must also keep pressing on, knowing that we are to learn something in each season, in each lesson, and in everyday. Once one season ends, the next one starts & the opportunity to go back usually doesn’t exist.
So for my singletons, enjoy the moments of solitude, pray that God is working on what He needs to in you & is preparing the other person as well. Because the worse thing to do is to get something out-of-season, & the wrong something at that!!!!
