Scripture: Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
Nugget: It is not being mean to correct/discipline your child; it is actually showing them love. In fact, not just children – but anyone; if you love someone, you will correct them if you think they are going off-track. Obviously, your manner of correction (tone, style, etc.) should be appropriate so your message gets heard. “A child left to himself….”. No child should be allowed to define their own rules…..they should be guided.
