Scripture: Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?

Nugget: There are levels and levels. Some people might not like you; can’t stand you. That is one level. Others might envy you – be extremely jealous (for reasons you can’t even understand) – that’s another level. Discern envy amongst those around you and disconnect; in fact flee/disassociate from those who envy you for whatever reason.

Some of us are actually flattered when people envy us. What a pity. Also, manage your behavior and disclosure. Some of us actually promote envy by the way we act, stories we tell, etc. The extent to which envy can go has no limits – “wrath is cruel; anger outrageous; but who can stand before envy??????”

Quote: “Jealousy is believing another received what you deserved.” – Mike Murdock
