Scriptures: Matthew 11:28-30 28Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (NKJV)
Nugget: These scriptures came to my mind yesterday after a busy and hectic few days. I continue to learn that time waits for no one; in this same process, I’m realizing how important it is to rest.
It’s so easy to get caught up in our daily routines & tire ourselves out! Before you know it, Friday has already arrived & we’re left wondering where the week has gone. I’m definitely trying to learn to give things over to God. Jesus reminds us in these scriptures to go to Him, give Him our burdens, & to find rest. This has to be some of the best advice ever!!
