Scripture: Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Nugget: Not only should we seek nourishment for our bodies, but nourishment for our souls! This comes by reading God’s word daily. His Word gives us the strength to renew our minds & thought processes. God’s word is what gets us through the tough times & allows us to have “back-up” for the things that come our way.
If you’re not feeding your mind & soul with God’s word, how are you backing up what comes your way?? We cannot live by bread alone!
