Scriptures: II Peter 1:3-4 3By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. (NLT)
Nugget: Everything we need comes from God & our relationship/connection to Him. However, we must do our part—getting to know Him, spending time with Him, & accepting Him into our hearts.
Because of His love for us & our relationship with Him, He gives us & promises us so much—even the things we don’t deserve. Staying focused on God allows us to grow in Him & to remove the things from our lives that do not belong.
We must continuously work on our relationship with God & our Christian walk!
