Daily Scriptures 10/31/11

Scripture: Proverbs 20:3 It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel. (NIV)

Nugget: I think we all know someone who loves to argue or to “keep something going.” You know, the person who’s always willing to fight or quarrel to get his/her point across; most times, the “point” is about nothing at all. The best way to handle this type of person is to walk away. This shows true wisdom.

Use wisdom to avoid strife & fighting; most times, the fighting is pointless & can turn into much more than a “simple” conversation. Wisdom is the key.

Quote: “It takes two to quarrel, but only one to end it.” -Spanish proverb
