Scriptures: II Chronicles 15:3-4 3For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law. 4But in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them. (NIV)
Nugget: Many of us have gone through periods of life where we feel lost & alone; most times, we were seeking answers & guidance, feeling that both could not be found. We may have even sought the advice of friends or family, but to no avail, the answers & guidance we sought were unfound.
Israel most likely had the same feelings we’ve had; but in their distress & during their difficult times, they sought God & found Him. Notice the scriptures do not indicate that God was lost, but Israel sought Him & He was there–God was never missing or gone.
In our distress & difficult times, we must turn to God–He isn’t missing, but is always there for us to find Him. Who are you turning to today?
