Today was such a historic day! Not only was it Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but President Barack Obama was sworn in for his 2nd term as President of the U.S.!
Dr. King would’ve been 84 years old if he’d lived; I think he would’ve been proud at how far America has come, but would also feel that we had more to do & to accomplish. The thing is, we continue to make strides.
I watched the Inauguration from home today; I enjoyed the event. It was great seeing so many people from all across the U.S. & the world celebrating together—regardless of color, nationality, religion, etc. Yes, Dr. King would’ve been proud.
Let us continue to pray for our President, each other, & the world! There are many challenges ahead, but all things are possible through Christ.
