Scripture: Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. (NIV)
Nugget: Do you feel that you’re growing in Christ? Or do you feel that you’ve pretty much been at a standstill? We should be growing in Christ on a daily basis. I’m not saying that we’re supposed to know everything, but each day is a chance for growth in some area of our lives, so why not let this area be in our relationship with our Lord?
In growth comes wisdom, in wisdom comes maturity—we should aim to be no longer as babes in the Lord, but as adults who’ve established a solid foundation in Him. In achieving each level of our relationship with Jesus, we become stronger & stronger—no longer affected by the waves & demands of everyday life & people.
Quote: “One of the marks of spiritual maturity is the quiet confidence that God is in control – without the need to understand why He does what He does.” -Anonymous
