Daily Scriptures 8/14/14

Scripture: Proverbs 19:15 Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, And an idle person will suffer hunger. (NKJV)

Nugget: We should always be working towards something; laziness should not be in our vocabulary or actions. How would we achieve anything by being idle? This scripture reminds us that an idle person suffers hunger; if we’re not working, we’re not eating. If we’re not working, we’re not achieving dreams, goals, etc. If we’re not working, we’re not growing.

Laziness is not something that should describe us. Of course they’ll be days where we need rest, but idleness shouldn’t be a continuous thing.
