John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (NIV)
What a love God has for us, sending Jesus to die for our sins! This love is unconditional & deep! May we focus on this love as we celebrate Easter & its meaning. It’s more than the Easter egg hunts & baskets. It’s about recognizing the sacrifice of our Lord & Savior.
Too many times I take this love for granted. I think of those who’ve come into my life & who’ve let me down or disappointed me in some way, but then I’m reminded that I’ve done the same to someone. However, we’re all reminded of the unconditional love from above.
Take time out to acknowledge Jesus’ presence & role in your life. It’s definitely not something to take lightly! Because of Him, we’re saved!! Not only saved, but loved beyond belief.
May we work daily on becoming all that God wants us to become.
