Scripture: Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. (New Living Translation)
Nugget: God has to be very patient with us; just think on the many things that we do where we seek His forgiveness (& the times we don’t seek it). However, once God gets angry, I’m sure there’s nothing like it! From this scripture, it looks like He will let this be known.
We don’t have to worry about getting back at those who have done us wrong or those who are guilty for something: God can handle this in His time & His way.
Quote: “Why were you angry? You will probably find that it was because you were not willing to accept the world as God has made it, or because you were not willing to leave it to God to deal with the people that He has made.” –Stephen Neill
