Scripture: Psalm 40:11 Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O LORD; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. (NKJV)
Nugget: Renewing our minds—this is a daily occurrence as we face the various things, people, & challenges that come our way. Sometimes, it’s easier to feel defeated versus taking the steps to find an encouraging scripture, quote, or prayer to lift us up.
What’s important to remember is that the things we face are temporary in comparison to God. His mercies are new every day, regardless of how we feel, the challenges upon us, etc. His lovingkindness & truth are what preserves us. God’s mercies aren’t withheld from us, even on the days that we don’t recognize them, but it’s still imperative that we seek out God & speak to Him. He continually sustains us.
