Daily Scriptures 1/6/12

Scripture: Psalm 26:12 My feet stand on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise the LORD. (NIV)

Nugget: There’s nothing like knowing that you know God is in control of everything; this is an example of standing firm in your faith in Him. Once this is realized, you’re definitely standing on level ground.

Standing on level ground means that, no matter what comes your way, your faith in God supersedes any situation you may face, your own thoughts & challenges, & more. And at all times, you’re praising God!

Don’t let your thoughts or challenges allow your feet to slip—stand on the level ground that is found in our Lord! There’s no better place to be.

Quote: “It’s important to remember as you face each daily challenge that you’ll never be given more than you’re capable of handling with the gifts you’ve been given. Open your heart to your faith and know that He will always be there with the strength you need in a time when you need it the most to get you through. It’s only when you make the choice to go it alone and accept defeat that you’ll believe that you were given a challenge too difficult to work through. Open your heart to His strength and power and He’ll show you success and abundance.” -J. Charest

  1. God levels the ground for all believers, making a way for us to stand even the midst of great trial. How thankful I am for the strength and underpinning of Jesus Christ!
