Scriptures: Matthew 7:1-2 1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Nugget: Oh, how easy it is for us to judge others. How soon we forget the things we’ve done & what God has forgiven us for. Whatever judgment we dish out will be returned in some way (remember we all have to answer to God).
My Pastor says something along the lines of, “we’ve forgotten how we were before we gave our lives to the Lord.” For instance, we’ve forgotten what we went through & what we had to do to get to where we are now. We weren’t always “saved” (& many people state to be & aren’t!!).
I always say, “Treat others how you want to be treated”. Maybe this should also be, “Judge others how you want to be judged”.
