Scriptures: I Peter 1:6-7 6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (New Living Translation)
Nugget: We go through many things in life; the good, the bad, & the ugly! Some things seem so overwhelming & dire that we wonder if we’re going to make it. The trials are the things that test our faith, that make us stronger, & build our faith.
Just think: if we didn’t go through half the stuff that we do (or have), we wouldn’t turn to God like we do! These tests become our testimonies, the testimonies become our praise.
No matter what you’re going through, continue to give glory & honor to God. Your praise & spiritual growth will outweigh the trial any day.
