Yesterday, the thought came to me to reach out to the positive people who’ve made an impact on my life. You know, the people you haven’t heard from in a while & you would like to say “HI” to. I sent out a few emails & heard back from a few. So that’s good. But, out-of-the blue, someone I hadn’t heard from in a while contacted me & said it was on her heart to say “HI”. How ironic, huh?
I guess from time-to-time we want to touch base & wish everyone the best. I’m not talking about reaching out to those negative & draining people who meant you no good, but just a hello to those where nothing went wrong, they were positive, & time got away from you.
It’s not that this can be done with everyone who’s crossed your path, because we know that some people are for a season, reason, or a lifetime, but there are others who stood out in the crowd & impacted you where it made some positive change.
Who do you need to say “HI” to today? An old friend, a family member, an old co-worker??????
