Scripture: Proverbs 11 v 1: A false balance is abomination to the Lord; but a just weight is his delight.
Nugget: Rest assured that if your life is spiraling out of control, despite seeming success in one area, that it concerns God. “A false balance is abomination to the Lord”. The Bible says the blessings of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. It is not God’s will that you are prosperous in your career but yet your family life is a disaster; it is not His will that you be extremely intelligent but yet be totally unable to relate with other human beings; that you are very social but generally deemed to be unserious 🙂 God help us.
Let’s pray for grace to have balance in our lives. In addition, let’s have balance/fairness in how we operate in our day to day dealings: “A just weight is his delight”.
