Scripture: Proverbs 11 v 27: He who diligently seeks good seeks [God’s] favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come upon him. (Amplified Translation)
Nugget: You want favour? Consistently apply yourself to seeking good. Note, it’s not about “sucking up” to people; it’s about seeking good – period. It’s about doing what is right because it’s right – irrespective of who it affects or does not affect. It’s not about man pleasing. It’s not a one time flash, “good deed” for the year or month.
Diligent means being constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent; tireless; done or pursued with persevering attention; painstaking. Nuff said.
