Scripture: I Samuel 15:17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
Nugget: God promotes the humble. When Saul was “little in his own sight”, God lifted him and made him King. But the minute he became King, he started seeing himself in a different light – he became unstoppable; and God who made him King became expendable. It’s easy to be humble when you don’t have much to brag about; but can you remain humble when God has really blessed you?
