Scriptures: Philippians 2:3-5 3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. (NLT)

Nugget: Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives that we don’t take the time to check on friends & family. True, everyone has something going on in their lives, but we are here to help each other through this journey called life. Of course, there will be times when we have to be a little selfish, but there will be times when we won’t have to be.

Who can you take an interest in today? Who haven’t you spoken to in a while? Who has come into your mind to contact, but you haven’t?

Quote: “The human being who lives only for himself finally reaps nothing but unhappiness. Selfishness corrodes. Unselfishness ennobles, satisfies. Don’t put off the joy derivable from doing helpful, kindly things for others.” –B.C. Forbes
