Wow, what a good day today was!! My friend received the answer to her prayers: her son was drafted today by the NFL. What an awesome blessing for her & her family. I am truly happy for her, her family, & her son; after all of their hard work, we see that dreams do come true! Her son & a few of his Alabama teammates will make their appearances as rookies in the NFL!! May we keep them uplifted in prayer.
In other news for today, my friends & I went to an outdoor jazz concert put on by one of the local radio stations! What a good time. I haven’t been to this event in previous years, so this was my first time attending. I definitely enjoyed it. I’m still learning the different jazz artists & only know of a few, but tonight, my favorite was Boney James. He put on a good show! One of the songs he performed was “Send One Your Love”, tied to an old Stevie Wonder hit. Another song, “Butter” is also good. Check it out:
I’ll definitely attend the next jazz event for sure. A new fan has been born!!! 🙂
