Scripture: John 16:12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” (NKJV)
Nugget: In this chapter (& in the ones before & after), Jesus was telling His disciples of the things to come. However, there were some things He didn’t mention during this time. These were either the things that it wasn’t the time for the disciples to hear, or they weren’t prepared to hear & receive these things just yet.
This is how it is with us; there are some things we aren’t ready to hear or to know yet. We are either in preparation for these things or God is waiting for His time to reveal it to us. Sometimes, we may wonder “why this” hasn’t happened yet, or “why that” didn’t work out like I wanted it to? We must realized that there are things we aren’t ready for, they/it could not be in God’s will, or we still need to grow to receive them.
Thank God for the preparation; we don’t want to receive anything, or anyone, before it’s time. God leaves no stone unturned—this includes preparing us for what lies ahead & providing us protection in the process.
