Scripture: Genesis 13:5 Lot, who was traveling with Abram, had also become very wealthy with flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and many tents. (NLT)
Nugget: Sometimes God blesses us through our associations, friendships, & connections. Lot, Abram’s nephew, was blessed because of his connection to Abram. Even in situations concerning enemies, God can bless us! (For example: lessons learned from mistakes made, things that happen to make us grow, etc.)
This is why it’s so important for us to watch our associations & friendships. We must evaluate who we have around us & the direction we’re going in. We definitely don’t want to block the blessings God sends through the right people!
