Daily Scriptures 5/4/11

Scripture: Proverbs 15:22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. (NIV)

Nugget: It’s okay to have a plan, but a well thought out & well advised plan is a good one. There is definitely importance in having a great adviser (or advisers) when working towards your goal or plan.

Thinking back, I reflect on those who God has brought into my life to help me to achieve a goal, plan, dream, & more. There’s no way these could’ve been achieved on my own.

Sometimes the plans we pray to achieve are based upon the counsel of others; the road to success includes other people who are placed in our lives in order to help us along the way.

Quote: “Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.” -Fitzhugh Dodson
