Nugget: Daily, we’re in the battle of our lives. We may not realize this, but it’s very true. The devil is always on the prowl, looking for ways to get to our hearts, minds, & souls. The wonderful thing is—-God is always on His job too!
Don’t give room to the devil; He comes in many forms—the co-worker who “gets on your nerves”, the child who doesn’t want to obey, the tough boss who’s critical, those negative thoughts that sometimes just “pop into your mind”, & the list goes on & on.
One thing I always say is, “Don’t give room to the devil; if you give an inch, he’ll take more.” (Lisi P.) Stay focused—submit all things & all people to God. The devil will surely flee.
