Scripture: Isaiah 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. (NIV)
Nugget: Everything we have is because of God; He’s made everything & everyone on this Earth. However, as humans, many think that what they have & what they’ve accomplished are out of their own will, but it’s not–God has given us all blessings, especially the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ, dying for our sins.
I believe this scripture is a reminder of the times where we can get above ourselves & lose sight of God–thinking we’ve done it all ourselves. God reminds us that there are things that only He can do—He gives us those “hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places”. When this happens, we can attribute it to no one but Him!! Just think on the times that God answered a prayer that you didn’t even pray! He blessed you in spite of yourself; that’s God providing “hidden” blessings & treasures!
What a great & mighty God we serve!!! Keep an eye out for the hidden blessings of God.
