Scriptures: Psalm 119:59-60 59I thought about my life, and I decided to follow your rules. 60I hurried and did not wait to obey your commands. (NCV)

Nugget: There have been many times when I’ve reflected on my life & the question of “What’s next?” At these moments, I realized the magnitude of following God & His will for my life. However, the “me” in myself wants to step in, losing patience with myself & the time it will take for things to happen. I end up wanting to step in front of God.

I thank God for the lessons learned during the times I want to get in front of Him. There’s no point in hurrying God, because everything will happen according to His plans. Most times, we are in preparation for the “What’s next?” in our lives. Let us remember to wait on Him & follow His will for our lives.

Quote: “The most important lesson that I have learned is to trust God in every circumstance. Lots of times we go through different trials and following God’s plan seems like it doesn’t make any sense at all. God is always in control and he will never leave us.” -Allyson Felix
