Scriptures: Psalm 107:42-43 42The righteous see it and rejoice, And all iniquity stops its mouth. 43Whoever is wise will observe these things, And they will understand the lovingkindness of the LORD. (NKJV)
Nugget: In the scriptures prior to these, the various blessings given to God’s people are mentioned. There are so many things that God had done for His people & these were being acknowledged.
These scriptures are reminders to me to count my blessings daily—no matter what is going on or how the day may seem, God is always present & is always in it. The scripture mentions, “all iniquity stops its mouth”—to me, this means to stop the negative talking & thoughts in order to allow positivity in.
There shouldn’t be any part of our day that we don’t seek God & thank Him for His mercy, grace, & favor. We should be wise & observe the things of God that He has blessed us with. He loves us too much not to provide a blessing (or blessings) in each & every day.
