Scriptures: Esther 4:13-14 13And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (NKJV)

Nugget: Esther was Queen (married to King Ahasuerus) at the time much turmoil was going on in the land. Her people, the Jews, were being plotted against & killed. Esther’s cousin, Mordecai, came to warn her of what was occurring. Although Esther was Queen, she was still a Jew & Mordecai reminded her that she would still face the same fate as the rest of their people.

It was up to Esther to realize that God put her in a certain place at a certain time to perform a certain action. She had to decide whether or not to do something to help her people, regardless of her title. She acted upon the steps to take in order to help her people.

How many times have we doubted we’re here for a purpose or for a particular reason? Little did Esther know she would become Queen one day & be the one to save her people. Just as Esther, we were created for such a time as this! God has us all here for a specific reason at this specific time in history. It’s up to us to seek His wisdom & understanding regarding our lives.

Don’t ever underestimate your gifts, talents, purpose, & life. You’re here for a reason—God says so.

Quote: “God has a great plan for your life! You are here not just to take up space or make a living. You are on this planet at this time in history for a unique purpose.” -Olga Hermans
