Scriptures: Psalm 130:3-4 3If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? 4But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. (NIV)
Nugget: No one has forgiveness like God; He continues to forgive us over & over again. In looking back over my life, there are many things that I’ve done that people wouldn’t & haven’t forgiven me for, but God has. If God kept a record of this, the list would never end, BUT God’s forgiveness—there’s nothing like it.
God forgiving us allows us to forgive ourselves & others, to make room to serve Him. If we continue to hold on to unforgiveness, of both others & ourselves, where would we be? We wouldn’t be able to grow & to serve God with our whole hearts. Harboring unforgiveness weighs us down & hinders us.
Let us work to be more forgiving of others & of ourselves; let us adopt God’s attitude regarding this.
