Daily Scriptures 7/1/13

Scriptures: Habakkuk 3:17-18 17Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— 18Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. (NKJV)

Nugget: There may be times in our lives where we feel like nothing is going right. We try to get this done, try to achieve that goal, it can even be something as simple as wanting to clean the house, & yet, our “to-do” list still goes uncompleted. But regardless of how things may seem or what is going on, there’s still a reason for us to praise the Lord & to thank Him for wherever we are right now.

I’ve had a tough couple of weeks regarding certain things I’ve been praying on; it seems as if nothing is happening. But as I’ve learned in past situations, God is consistently & always working. Our “nothing” means God is up to something. We may not know what that something is right now, but all things will come to pass! I don’t doubt that.

Don’t complain about where you are right now; these scriptures mention many things that were not happening & it would’ve been easy to get down about this. However, Habakkuk rejoiced in & praised the Lord anyways!

In the midst of your situation & circumstance, praise God, rejoice in Him. Everything is working out if you only believe.
