Scripture: Isaiah 60:5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. (NIV)
Nugget: This scripture reminds me of things to come; the things that will come after the darkness, after the crying, after the frustration, etc. We all face many things that weigh us down, sometimes, we get so caught up in the things & the difficulties that we forget there’s another side to the coin. This is the side of the things to come.
What’s on this other side? Blessings, continued life, happiness, joy, peace, & God’s love that was always there. “You will look and be radiant, your heart will swell with joy.” These are the things that I’m looking forward to after experiencing some difficulties; I am beginning to focus on these things.
Don’t dwell on your problems, hurt, pain, etc. too long. Think about the great things that are coming on the other side of these situations. I continually remind myself that God’s plan is for me to prosper & to have hope! Thanking Him in advance for the joy & happiness that’s on the other side!
