Scripture: Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. (NKJV)
Nugget: There are many things that we want in life; some of these things we go out on our own to get & others we wait for the Lord to bless us with. There is definitely a difference in receiving what’s in God’s will versus receiving the things that we “made happen”. Even if God leads you to do something, there’s peace that comes with it.
When God blesses us with something, there’s no sorrow, strife, struggle, etc. connected to it. When God answers we usually have the feeling of “everything falling into place.” When we make things happen for ourselves, most times, there’s chaos. I’ve experienced both for sure.
Allow God to bless you in His will & His way; don’t try to make things happen on your own. Even if you’re stepping out on faith, let God be your guide—He knows the way.
