Scripture: Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. (NKJV)
Nugget: How many times have we thought or said to God, “Where are you?”, believing that He couldn’t hear our prayers, cries, or words to Him? Most times, in these instances, it was probably me who was blocking God & His voice; this blocking probably came from something I was doing (or shouldn’t have been doing!) which caused me to separate from God.
It’s not necessarily that God is hidden from us, as He’s always there, but there are things we do that can allow us not to see Him–completely blocking our view of Him. How many times have we missed something or someone who was right in front of our faces due to our one-dimensional view of things? In this same manner, what we’re doing can block our view of God & to Him.
Don’t allow anyone (including yourself) or anything to hinder your view of God & your relationship with Him.
