Scripture: Numbers 11:23 The LORD answered Moses, “Is the LORD’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.” (NIV)
Nugget: In the scriptures prior to this one, Moses posed many doubtful questions to God regarding his role in leading the people out of Egypt on their journey to the Promised Land. Not only was Moses posing his own doubtful questions, the people were continually questioning him & complaining along the way.
Although we were not on that particular journey, we are all on journeys in which we’ve posed doubtful questions to God, possibly complaining along the way. As God responded to Moses, “Now you will see….what I say….will come true….” God reminded Moses that it didn’t matter what the circumstances “said”, what Moses himself or the people were saying, but what He was saying—-His arm & vision reach beyond our limitations. That’s God!
