Scripture: Haggai 1:5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. (NIV)
Nugget: Sometimes we don’t realize that our delayed blessings could be tied up in our disobedience or actions. For example, we could be praying for a better job or career, but not submitting applications. Also, we could be seeking forgiveness, but we ourselves are unforgiving. Even at times, we wonder why others judge us, when we judge others. The list can go on and on.
But what happens when we consider our ways & seek God to evoke the change in us to open the doors for what could be delayed? The change that causes us to develop a new mindset & characteristics that transform us from the inside out–you know the heart & spirit change. I think we would be amazed at how many blessings are linked to us & our ways.
Give careful thought to your ways & what God reveals to you about yourself. There may be a few surprises & blessings there to unfold.
