Nugget: Many times I’ve heard that the battle we are in is a spiritual one; definitely not one that’s physical, meaning hands-on, when we come against the devil. If he gets into our minds & our thoughts, pretty much, he can bring us down. We begin to wonder how our thoughts ended up “way over there”, and “way over there” is usually not a good place.
Prayer, seeking God, & having that relationship with Him are what keeps us focused on fighting the battle from a spiritual aspect. We mustn’t let the devil get into our thoughts & we must guard our hearts & mind, staying focused on what God says; even ignoring our own thought processes when we go astray.
Guard your thoughts & heart; don’t allow yourself to give up the battle with your thoughts being in the wrong direction.
