Scriptures: Psalm 81:10-11 11“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. 12So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels. (ESV)
Nugget: One thing is for sure, God gives us free will! He will step back & let us do our own thing, especially when we choose to ignore His direction. I can attest to this! God will close a door, I’d still want to walk through it. God will remove someone out of my life, it’s easy to want to hold on. The list goes on! But God allowed me to walk in my decisions—mostly, there were a few lessons for me to learn along the way—some very hard ones at that. Oh, but if I’d listened to God’s guidance, it would’ve saved a lot of time.
In what areas can you see God guiding you in one direction, but you want to go your own way? He will step out of the way & allow you to act in free will, but He’s also there giving you His input. The decision is yours, but God is always there to pick up the pieces with open arms.
