Nugget: Forever….it’s a long time! How many people or things can we attach this word to?? There are not too many that we can name, but God definitely has this attribute! Along with God being with us forever, He gives us the gift of mercy.
One of the definitions of mercy is “an act of kindness, compassion, or favor” (dictionary.com). Mercy has a lot of other things attached to it, but even if we stop to recognize these three items on a daily basis, we’re able to see just how far-reaching God’s mercy is.
God’s kindness, compassion, and favor are what get us through. With these, we welcome His endurance and presence with us along life’s journey. Thanking Him for always being there no matter what.
