Scripture: Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (NKJV)
Nugget: We’ve all heard the saying, “God is good!” & for many of us, it’s something that we say on a consistent basis. It’s not that we don’t believe it, but there can be times when we say it out of habit & it becomes routine. Unfortunately, this can easily happen in our day-to-day lives.
Maybe one way we can change the routine up a little is to really think & focus on the goodness of God when we make the statement. Take those moments to reflect on how good He is from waking us up this morning to giving His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Even putting on shoes each day is a blessing! (There are many people all over the world who are unable to do this—they live in poverty, have health issues, etc.)
Let’s not only say that “God is good”, but let’s walk in the truth of His goodness, renewing our “routine” on a daily basis.
