Daily Scriptures 6/7/11

Scripture: Proverbs 26:12 There is more hope for fools than for people who think they are wise. (NLT)

Nugget: Have you ever met a person who thinks that he/she knows everything? Most times, these people are ones who you can’t tell anything to—they really feel that they know everything.

This scripture states that “there is more hope for fools” than for people who feel that they are so wise that they aren’t open for learning. These words are very powerful, as most times, one thinks a fool isn’t open to listening & learning. My guess, even foolish people turn aside from their ways from time-to-time to listen & learn. But a person who feels they know it all is like talking to a brick wall.

Daily, we should be open to learning; realizing there’s no way to know everything, but there is the opportunity to learn something new—this is truly being wise!
